Our biggest case of success is the Open Finance Brazil implementation, since its beginning, holding a central role working together with many financial sector associations, multiple providers, and the Brazilian Central Bank. Our activities within the scope of Open Finance Brazil also comprises Payment Initiation using Pix and the interoperability with the Open Insurance Brazil ecosystem.

What we do

Chicago Advisory Partners is responsible for the project management, implementation, and operations management of the Open Finance Brazil. Chicago was selected by the associations in charge of creating this ecosystem, proudly contributing for the growth and success of the Open Finance since 2021.

We hold a central role as Secretariat (PMO), Administrative Layer, technology infrastructure management and provision of many other services – for example, graphic indicators panel, controlling tools, and knowledge management.

Founded in 2021 by professionals with extended experience in strategy consulting, in varied economic sectors and in national and international organisations of many sizes, Chicago is specialised in subjects related to the open data world, which is composed not only by the bank system, but also by the insurance, pension, health, energy sectors, among others.

Awards won since our foundation in 2021

Chicago Advisory Partners was rewarded with the Innovation in Digital Banking Awards 2023 by The Banker, part of the Financial Times group, in the category Open Banking. This recognition is the result of arduous work and of the collaboration among more than 600 specialists from many institutions, including the Central Bank, that performed a central role in this achievement.

Apart from celebrating our innovation, this award highlights the advancement of the Brazilian financing ecosystem, and we are honoured to be part of this progress. Compromised with the innovation and excellence, we will keep facing the future challenges with determination. We will commemorate this victory and keep going.

After being the winner of the Global Open Finance Awards in 2021, Chicago has been constantly among the finalists of Open Summit Awards, given to the best professionals and companies of the financing data sharing ecosystem in Brazil. Not only the company was nominated to the Company of the Year award in the years of 2022 and 2023, but also its founding partners and many of its professionals were nominated for the Professional of the Year award, also in 2022 and 2023.

Already in its first year of activity, in 2021, Chicago Advisory Partners received the award for "Best Open Banking Fintech Partnership" along with Raidiam (supplier and partner from the technology standpoint and for the participants’ directory) for the joint work in implementing the, at that time, Open Banking Brazil.
